This department under the District Commissioner’s office is tasked with revenue collection, planning and budgeting of the district’s finance.

Care
The district has two(2) registered public schools and more than twenty(20) private schools that use the Somali curriculum system both in primary and secondary levels. There are also two(2) polytechnics and three(3) universities in the district.

This department is underway through our current administration reforms. Our main agendas in reforming this sector is enhancing the public transport sector and improve the state of our road network.

This sector controls the supply of clean water to the district. Ensuring availability and access to clean purified water for a healthy community.

Beled Hawa District, is in Gedo province of Jubaland State of Somalia. It borders both Kenya and Ethiopia therefore making it the financial capital of Gedo region. The district has a population of approximately 200,000. There are more than 40 Locations and many Sub Locations than fall under the Beled Hawa administration.
